There’s no hard scrubbing involved here, the machine does the work. The great thing about the Oreck Orbiter is that it takes the muscle work out of the whole process. Oreck Orbiter Tile Cleaning – The Process If you can’t see it, let me give you a close up… This is to give you an idea of what our floor should look like.ĮThe high traffic areas, definitely get the worst of it. This area is normally covered with a rug, and if you look closely, you can see the dirt outline of the rug on the tile floor. This tile is just super-porous (and I feel compelled to say that I did not choose this tile), and is a dirt magnet with all of the cracks and crevices. Plus, it’s a tool that I’ll have and use as I need it, in other parts of my home.įair warning, this tile is a wee bit embarrassing to share, and I promise you that we clean regularly. It’s not something you can clean well with your normal cleaning tools, and from the research I did on the Oreck Orbiter, I figured it was going to be a lot cheaper than paying someone to come out and clean my tile. We have travertine tile in our home, and while it’s pretty, it is very porous, and very prone to dirt and grime getting into all of the nooks and crannies over time. I bought the Oreck Orbiter specifically for my tile floors and cleaning the grout, but it has proven to be an amazing multi-surface floor cleaner as well, which has been an added bonus. That’s where the Oreck Orbiter comes to the rescue. After all, nothing sends me into a home improvement tailspin like a party! That said, after a long winter, your floors definitely take a beating, whether you have carpet, tile, vinyl or hardwoods. We’re getting ready for another graduation party, which always means getting the house into party-shape.

I am 70 years old and I love this business. It’s springtime, which means spring cleaning is probably on your mind, like it is mine. I highly reccomend the Stepson orbital for stairs and furniture because it does a sensational job. While the Direct mop MF pads are thinner and distort a bit but still work well. The Hagco work well and are only about 9 bucks and are thicker, A motorcycle can scoot in an out of tight situations and is quick and fast.įor pads I would reccomend 15" glad pads from CCSOP (john Guerkinks company), and 13' microfiber pads from or 13" MF from Direct mop sales inc. A truck can carry big loads but there are places it cannot go. With the small machine I am not beat up at the end of the day. I charge plenty and I am happy and they are happy. If I had only empty homes and hotel lobbies to do I would be tempted to get a big machine but for what I do (occupied high end homes) No thanks! I get raves at every job I do and they tell their friends. I will put my work up against anyone out there. I ordered a case of Blast and I can hardly wait to try it. The thing that has made the biggest difference is Steve's Vacaway chems and microfiber pads, particularly the Peroxyllent boosted with Spot & Boost. Not only is is easy to work with in almost all situations, it flat out does a phenomenal job. The Oreck Orbiter is the best kept secret in the carpet cleaning business. I do exclusive high end homes where the customers demand the very best. I have used the Oreck Orbiter exclusively since I ditched the CRB "tiny sponge" method about 10 years ago.
